Mission context
A major Belgian insurer in Brussels needs a Senior Project Leader in Life Information Systems for life-product developments including underwriting and claims management systems. You drive multiple IT projects across mainframe and .NET technologies, coordinating teams and stakeholders to deliver on firm timelines. Remote/telework from Belgium only.
Responsibilities
- Define stakeholders, set up steering committees and implement the communication plan
- Manage and challenge business requirements with architects and business owners
- Coordinate architecture activities and outputs with architects
- Build project budget, product breakdown and detailed work-packages
- Follow development progress and report on scope, quality, timing and budget
- Identify risks and issues, define actions and maintain a risk/issue/action log
- Stimulate collaboration across teams and support skill development
