Mission context
A major Belgian insurer in Brussels needs a Data Technical Lead in the data engineering team. You act as the technical reference between Data Engineers and Data Platform Architects, ensuring technical quality and alignment with architecture while implementing and maintaining critical Azure data components. Remote/telework from Belgium only.
Responsibilities
- Validate pull requests, perform peer reviews and enforce data engineering standards
- Coach junior Data Engineers and translate architectural guidelines into actionable tasks
- Design, implement and maintain Azure data pipelines; contribute to performance and data quality
- Recommend technical solutions across DWH layers (ingestion, transformation and consumption)
- Feed field experience back into the evolution of the data platform and engineering practices
