Mission context
A major Belgian bank in Brussels needs an OPS Security Engineer in the IT Production Security Tribe (Squad Firewall & Proxy Filtering Services). The squad manages firewall requests and configurations, resolves incidents, and implements secure solutions while ensuring compliance with group security rules and regulatory obligations. You work in an Agile environment across daily operations, projects and audit/recertification.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily firewall flow requests; implement and optimise firewall rules
- Resolve firewall-related incidents and document configurations against security policies
- Participate in project teams with firewall technology expertise for design and delivery
- Perform deep analyses for audits, flow recertifications and reporting with evidence
- Work with security and network architecture teams on secure solutions and micro-segmentation
