About the role

A major Belgian bank in Brussels needs a Senior Technical Analyst on its AML monitoring tool. You develop and maintain detection scenarios so the bank can cover risk typologies and new emerging risks, and you free capacity on the existing team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the business analyst to turn AML risk analysis into detection scenarios
  • Write SAS scripts to simulate and refine scenario logic on historical data
  • Configure scenarios in Netreveal or equivalent SAS detection scripts
  • Test in a non-production environment and deploy to production
  • Keep an audit trail and support change processes for first- and second-line teams
  • Help analyse alert volumes and relevancy after go-live
