About the role

To strengthen fraud detection in Brussels, a major Belgian bank is hiring an Expert Fraud Data Scientist. You design, develop and improve fraud detection models and turn large volumes of transactional and customer data into actionable intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, enrich and validate large-scale transactional and behavioural datasets for fraud analytics
  • Design, develop and improve fraud detection models using supervised and unsupervised techniques, graph analytics and anomaly detection
  • Investigate complex fraud schemes, uncover new attack vectors and propose mitigation strategies
  • Work with operations, risk, compliance and product teams to operationalise models in production
