About the role
A major Belgian bank in Brussels needs an Expert Infrastructure and Network Architect for production services focused on web infrastructure and applications. You deliver technical designs, analyse application flows and incidents, and guide resilient hosting and web-security architecture with security, DevOps and delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide web hosting and web security architectural expertise and concrete architecture choices for projects
- Own Detailed Technical Design documents for new or updated web-infrastructure work, expanding enterprise OPAD inputs
- Analyse end-to-end application flows for bottlenecks, failure points and scalability
- Lead technical investigations of production incidents and recommend architectural improvements
- Validate designs with project architects, infrastructure engineers and development teams
- Contribute to reference architectures and share performance-tuning and troubleshooting practices
- Deliver an end-to-end solution view with security, network and DevOps counterparts
- Identify cost, right-sizing and decommissioning opportunities and drive structured retirement plans
