Location detail: Brussels (5 min walk from Central Station) - hybrid ~60% on site / 40% homeworking. Remote/telework from Belgium only

About the role

A major Belgian bank in Brussels needs an Expert Lead Program Manager to define, govern and deliver a strategic data transformation programme. You keep three related workstreams as one coherent programme — a self-service data platform, decommissioning of legacy BI, and simpler reporting tooling — with a shared strategy, roadmap, governance model and delivery plan. The mandate is to put those elements in place and prepare initiative owners to continue delivery without a standing lead programme manager.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the overall transformation roadmap across the three workstreams
  • Align objectives, priorities and success criteria with executive management
  • Establish programme governance and lead executive steering forums
  • Coordinate initiative owners and delivery leads so planning, milestones and resources stay consistent
  • Report progress, risks, budget and value realisation in a fact-based way
  • Drive adoption of data products, self-service capabilities and the target reporting landscape
  • Own the programme risk and dependency landscape and define mitigating actions
