About the role

A major Belgian bank in Brussels needs an Expert Program Manager to run a set of related projects as one programme — with a clear mandate on data migration, data mesh and reporting-tool rationalisation. You provide the decision-making that individual projects cannot, and keep the programme on time, on budget and aligned with the business objective.

Responsibilities

  • Agree programme objectives with management and stakeholders and represent the organisation's interests
  • Monitor progress across the projects in the programme and give project managers a programme perspective
  • Identify and manage cross-project dependencies, risks and issues
  • Estimate and follow up programme cost and report to line management and stakeholders
  • Sit on project steering forums, act as escalation path, and secure budget for the programme's projects
  • Keep delivery aligned with compliance, permanent-control and operational-risk policies
