About the role

A major Belgian bank in Brussels needs a Senior Business Analyst on its Basel IV / CRR3 aftercare programme in Finance. The bank has launched an end-to-end campaign to assure a sound business-as-usual regulatory-capital process, with a focus on Risk Weighted Assets calculation. You coordinate analysis and delivery across Risk, Finance, Corporate Banking, Data and IT so RWA calculations, controls and remediation stay robust.

Responsibilities

  • Support the regulatory-capital programme focused on Risk Weighted Assets (RWA)
  • Perform data analysis and ad-hoc extractions from Risk and Finance data sources for RWA analyses
  • Coordinate data-collection initiatives and support relationship managers where needed
  • Contribute to methodological solutions for RWA (e.g. collateral impact) and follow up implementation
  • Run data-quality assessments and remediation initiatives affecting regulatory capital calculations
  • Perform functional, regulatory and process analysis across the end-to-end capital chain
  • Coordinate one or more sub-projects, aligning Risk, Finance, Corporate Banking, Data and IT
  • Translate regulatory, business and risk requirements into functional specifications and implementation guidelines
  • Support programme governance: planning, milestones, dependencies, risks and reporting
  • Provide ad-hoc advisory support to management across Corporate Banking, Risk, Finance and Data
