About the role

A major Belgian bank in Brussels is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to raise Agile maturity across its Artificial Intelligence delivery teams. You implement Scrum and sprint ways of working from the ground up, coach cross-functional project teams and business stakeholders, and remove obstacles to delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective)
  • Implement Scrum and sprint ways of working from scratch and ensure smooth adoption across the project team
  • Support the Product Owner on the Product Backlog and guide the team on the Definition of Done and Sprint Backlog
  • Track team capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress reporting
  • Coach and challenge the project team toward self-organisation and protect them from external distractions
  • Manage project risks and issues and report on Scrum deployment to leadership
