About the role

A major Belgian insurer in Brussels needs an Expert Change Manager for production change control. You steer changes from submission to closure so go-lives land with minimal business impact, protect the information system from unacceptable risk, spot conflicts between changes, and continuously improve the change-management process with operational production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify change requests for quality, notice deadlines, testing, risk and rollback readiness
  • Track changes through their lifecycle and accompany each stage through to Post Implementation Review
  • Organise or participate in Change Advisory Board sessions; resolve conflicts and set go-live dates
  • Communicate upcoming changes and associated risks to stakeholders and escalate significant production impact to management
  • Ensure the change-management process is followed from creation to closing and drive continuous improvement of process and indicators
  • Support teams in using the change-management tool and keep the change register complete and accurate
