About the role

A major Belgian insurer in Brussels needs a hands-on Senior AML AI Specialist inside its operational anti-money-laundering function. You sit with analysts and team leads to find high-impact efficiency improvements, then rapidly prototype and deploy practical AI assistants and agents for case preparation, document analysis and quality checks — always under human oversight and regulatory controls. The aim is concrete results in three months, not a large transformation programme.

Responsibilities

  • Shadow AML analysts to map where effort is spent and maintain a practical improvement backlog
  • Build and configure AI agents, copilots or prompt-based assistants for case and document work
  • Pilot solutions with end users and iterate quickly on feedback
  • Keep solutions aligned with existing AML controls, quality, consistency and traceability
  • Track time savings and operational benefits; document lessons learned
  • Present recommendations for follow-on opportunities and leave reusable documentation
