About the role

A major Belgian insurer in Brussels is looking for a Senior Process Analyst to optimise and continuously improve existing financial processes, reporting activities and supporting IT systems. Acting as the main liaison between Finance/Reporting and IT teams, you identify process inefficiencies, enhance data quality, translate business needs into clear functional analyses and specifications, and oversee the improvement roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse, coordinate and follow up on prioritised business requests across Finance and Reporting
  • Act as the primary liaison between Reporting, Control & Performance Management teams and IT teams
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional analyses and specifications
  • Identify process inefficiencies, operational risks and data-quality improvement opportunities
  • Lead and support initiatives to optimise existing financial processes, reporting activities and supporting systems
  • Ensure alignment across multiple improvement initiatives and their impact on end-to-end financial processes
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to drive consensus and decision-making
  • Oversee the project roadmap, monitor dependencies and report progress to management
